Obama implicitly supports co-ops
There’s a video in this WaPo article in which Obama mentions that the restaurant Charmington’s is a co-op and serves as a model because it provide paid sick leave to employees: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/federal-eye/wp/2015/01/15/obama-provides-parental-leave-for-feds/
In the video clip, he mentions that he chose to make his case at the restaurant which is a co-op and provides paid sick days and good wages. So he only implicitly promotes co-ops.
Anyone interested in attempting to meet with the White House re: support for worker co-ops?
